Grade 7 Social Studies- students are learning about Confederation. We are learning about Confederation through articles and through the text book. Students are working in groups leaning about the people who lived in Great Britain and who were affected by the movement. Each group will receive a specific group of people and will present to the class.
Grade 7 Science- we are currently still studying mixtures and solutions. Learning about solutes and solvants and we have begun learning about distillation. We will as well be examining the water in our environment.
Grade 7 Prime French- students are currently discussing items they collect or would collect. I have asked students to bring in something they collect to do mini presentations.
Grade 8 Social Studies- we have begun looking at climate in Atlantic Canada. We have been discussing major resources in Atlantic Canada and how they are affected by weather changes.
